All Hallows Eve 2009

Jack wanted to be a policeman this year. It started about 2 months ago. We casually chatted about Halloween and I wondered if he had any ideas of what he might want to be.

“A scarecrow!” said Jack.
“Jack… you were a scarecrow last year. You can be something different if you want,” I explained.
“A policeman!”

We didn’t think much of it– I wasn’t sure if he would change his mind. But he never wavered. So this week I went down to the police station and asked if I could photograph a police officer and proceeded to create a policeman uniform.

Jack was very pleased with his costume. We are, too.
